Enchanted Expeditions is one of the original pioneering cruise operators in the Galapagos Islands. Founded by Judy Carvalhal and her family, who have called the Galapagos home for most of their lives, we take immense pride in our deep local connections and commitment to supporting the Galapagos community.
We ensure that 90% of our revenue stays in Ecuador, actively contributing to local businesses and improving livelihoods. Our onboard many of the ingredients for meals feature fresh, authentic flavors sourced from our farm on Santa Cruz Island and local farmers and artisans. This dedication to sourcing locally ensures that every dish highlights the best of Galapagos ingredients.

Planting endemic trees
We have initiated an endemic tree planting program, these trees not only contribute to cleaner air but also provide essential habitat for endemic species.
Farming our own produce
We operate a farm in the highlands of Santa Cruz, which supplies some of the produce for our yachts, including fresh coffee and rich chocolate.
Supporting locals
We strive to purchase as much as possible from local businesses, ensuring that 90% of our revenue stays within Ecuador, directly contributing to the economy.
Waste management
We have waste management programs that ensure all trash, oil, and sewage is treated and disposed of safely to keep our oceans clean and protect marine life.
Donating
We consistently support local and international NGO's and non-profit organizations dedicated to making positive changes, both socially and environmentally.
Carbon offset program
Our carbon offset program takes meaningful steps by investing in projects that promote renewable energy, reforestation, and sustainable land management.
